Chapter 16 (The End!)

‘You shouldn’t have planned this trip, Aarav. Arhan is just a year old, and we’ve left him at home!’

‘It’s alright! I promise you’ll remember it forever. Just close your eyes.’

Aarav blind-folded Ashima and walked her to a place. Then he gently opened her blind fold. They were standing at a place from where the Eiffel Tower was clearly visible. It was gleaming in the night sky and was looking serene in its own way. The cold breeze was flowing Ashima’s hair. Aarav hugged her lightly from behind.

‘The first time when you took me to that waterfall place, I thought it’s the most beautiful place of the world, Aarav. And now, this, but I realized something. It’s not the place that is beautiful, it’s you! Every place with you is beautiful in its own way. Thank you, for being my life Aarav! I love you…’
